“Being Sensitive” is good or bad in today’s world ?  This is the question juggling through my brain. I sometimes feel that either I am too sensitive to feel the way I feel OR the world today has become too Insensitive !

Both the situations make me uncomfortable. If its me who is so sensitive then its not good for me but if its the world which has become insensitive its not good for the society, country, world and also humanity. I am what I am. I am simple, sincere, sensitive / emotional. I have faith in love, I have faith in people, I believe people very easily, I am ready to help people anytime and under any circumstances. But what I notice is that people do not let a chance go where they do not take advantage of these qualities of mine.  My company, my colleagues, my relatives and everyone I know take advantage of this and use me to their benefit.

I am also disturbed when I see atrocities in the world and I see how people are insensitive even towards each other and specially women and children. What disturbs me is the fact that people do not have any feelings for others. Feelings are the most important component in any human form. It is the feeling that separates us from the animals. The feelings are dying……and this is sad. Without the feelings we will be dead…….our bodies might still live but our souls will die…………and that will be the end of the world. We should not fear 2012. We should fear ourselves….we should look within us and try and become little more sensitive…….

I personally feel that being sensitive is good. If you feel otherwise then please leave your comment with your reasons to feel so. Even if you agree to what you say then too you are welcome to leave your comments and views.

What was interesting was that only a handful of them had the guts themselves to post a comment on the article and appreciate it in the open. They were timid and opted to either call me or mail me to appreciate what I had written.

I think these people do not have the “GUTS”. Though they want to support the right and the truth but are afraid of the bad and wrongful world.

I would only say to these people…………………..cumon….”BE A MAN – Stand up for what is right.”

I always had these guts and would always stand up for truth right on anybody’s face. I did no wrong so why should I be afraid ? Even with the Directors of the company where I’ve worked, I always looked straight into the eyes and said the truth. On no occasion did I call a white wall, a black wall. Just to be good in their eyes I never hid any truth from them. I had the guts to do it and I think they do respect me for that.

The question now is : DO YOU HAVE THE GUTS ??

Do you have it in you ?

There is no value for hard work and sincerity. People only value other people whom they are afraid of. The new law of the world seems to be, ” Where there is fear, there is value.”

I have seen several examples of this around me. The best examples I have seen in one of my earlier company where nobody seems to acknowledge & appreciate and value the hard work, sincerity, honesty and quality of work if they are not afraid of you. Only if they feel that you could harm them (and mind it …….harm means…only monetary harm) they will run after you and will do anything for you.

If you have good intentions for them and you cannot give any monetary harm to them then they will never care about you and will never value you or your qualities.

These people are afraid only of monetary losses and by their ways and means they are changing the very face of the world. These people not only promote dishonesty, insincerity, lack of responsibility but are also helping these blood-suckers grow. Seeing what is going around them even the good people start thinking of becoming bad for the sake of getting recognition to their efforts.

What goes on is beyond the understanding of the simple mind and seems to be like a mind boggling tale. One fails to understand where this world would end. Friends become foes………but as they can provide monetary harm they are forcibly turned into friends again by using the force of money and other goodies, even when the feelings are not there.

I even remember my Director literally crying in front of me that this particular guy had done so wrong with him and also instructed me never to talk to him as he was characterless and because he had done harm to the director and to the company…………………….and then suddenly one day I see that the same man walks into the office……….not only he had re-joind but had re-joined at a much higher status and with better pay-scale and better package and also with a lot of goodies.

It’s true that the corporate world has no ethics. Human ethics, human feelings, human values …all have been buried for the sake of benefit…….just the monetary benefit is what actually matters.

At the end of this thought process I still can’t figure out anything that happens and goes on around me……….I just know one thing…..this world is actually a very funny world !!!
